Most of the ultrasound technician schools train and teach their students the same way but, there is a small chance that a few things being different in every other state. After everyone complete their training programs in ultrasound technician schools, they are required to take an internship at a local hospital. Which will usually take 950 hours or roughly around 6 months. If you complete your internship and receive a good rating from your supervisor, then you will be eligible for the ultrasound technician certification exam. This certification will qualify you to be a professional ultrasound technician who can legally work at any hospital or clinic.
